Startups Cooperative Credit Union (StartCCU) is a licensed Tier-3 financial cooperative based in Techiman, Ghana, with a mission to empower startups, informal traders, and MSMEs through inclusive finance and enterprise support.
We believe financial inclusion is the foundation for building sustainable businesses and stronger communities. By combining affordable financial services, digital innovation, and business development support, StartCCU bridges the gap that prevents entrepreneurs—especially women and youth—from accessing growth capital.
Since our establishment, we have grown into a vibrant community of over 1,500 active members, comprising of MSMEs, women-led enterprises, farmers, and youth-driven businesses. With a 92% repayment rate and over 800 jobs created, StartCCU has proven capacity to drive impact at scale.
